The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) is the trade association for UK timber frame manufacturers and the sector's key suppliers. Established in 2002, the association represents the interests of over 85% of the timber frame manufacturers in the UK. The UKTFA, own a bespoke quality assurance scheme that is open to all Members. The scheme, which operates on two levels – Q-Mark and Q-Mark Plus - offers a benchmark for manufacturers, designers and erectors that provides sufficient confidence in their companies and products for them to be specified in the UK.
BM TRADA under contract from UKTFA, carries out all the audits and certification for the Q-Mark scheme.
