Cross Media Communications achieves PAS 2020 certification with BM TRADA

Multimedia marketing agency Cross Media Communications (CMC) has become one of the first companies in the UK to achieve certification to the new environmental standard for direct marketing communication, PAS 2020:2009, with BM TRADA Certification Ltd.
CMC Marketing Director Simon Gray said, ‘We strove to achieve PAS 2020 to demonstrate to our clients that we are providing the best possible service by ensuring that their direct marketing campaigns are as environmentally conscious as possible. We will help them to develop highly personalised content in the one-to-one marketing we undertake for them. This therefore keeps the numbers of mailing to the absolute minimum as we are only posting what is necessary and relevant.’
Every PAS 2020 campaign will require a full audit trail, he added. ‘Producing direct mail to the PAS 2020 standard will ensure minimal wastage or paper and other materials. It also means that no excessive finishes have been used and that ink coverage is kept to a certain level. All of this can be achieved without any compromise to style and quality and will still return the high return on investment rates that one to one marketing produces.’
